About Steve Triplett

Steve Triplett started Santa Barbara Luthiery in the late 1970’s where he built guitars and mandolins.

As a musician and artist, he was fascinated by the beauty and mystique of the Celtic harp and made his first 34 string model in 1980.

He began displaying and selling his harps at Renaissance Fairs in Los Angeles and San Francisco and quickly became established as a premier harp builder in the United States. From that time on, Triplett Harps has grown to be an internationally renowned Celtic harp manufacturer, making the highest quality handcrafted harps available throughout the world.
