We currently make four models
of wire harps, each with their own special value. In construction, we
use the same woods as the nylon harps: walnut, cherry, maple, and bubinga.
To read about their tonal qualities please refer to the soundboard
construction page.
Our wire harps have a tapered soundboard constructed of all hardwoods.
The blade-style sharping mechanisms for wire harps are manufactured in
our factory using a lost wax hand-casting technique. When we adjust the
levers, we add a "stop pin" so you can turn your blade to the
right spot for the perfect half-note. |
